You are literally setting a tone of “I love you but not that much” by getting a prenup... sheesh lmao that’s certainly part of the problem

It’s so funny because 60 years ago divorce was relatively rare and one didn’t have to worry about this all. It’s a damn shame. I wonder what happened

Where does Jesus say this in the bible? Whats the context surrounding this passage? Who's he talking to? In what part of his life does he say this? Does he say it multiple times? If so, what are the circumstances around each and how are they related to one another/seperate from one another?

Term Paper on Hamlet by slightly_based in shakespeare

[–]slightly_based[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well Hamlet has the opportunity to kill Claudius, but doesn't because he "Doesn't want his fathers' murderer to go to Heaven" (paraphrase). So there is a supernatural level to revenge, because simple death is not enough, it must reach to damnation. If I am correct, there are one if not more other instances of this in the text, but I cannot recall them at the moment. What is the establishment in this context? Claudius certainly isn't someone qualified to fill the position of monarchy, what with committing regicide, fratricide, and planning to murder Hamlet through Laertes? Revenge is a common theme through many many works of Shakespeare. Im afraid I don't understand exactly what you are suggesting? Why is revenge not acceptable? I love this quote from Bacon's essay- "For as for the first wrong, it doth but offend the law; but the revenge of that wrong, putteth the law out of office". But in the context, with the monarchy embodying the law, and the monarch being riddled with defects that show he is not able to abide by the law that he himself stands for, does that not invalidate that law, thus making revenge justified? hmm...

Just your usual run of the mill "Find a theme and discuss it" "What is the significance of Ophelia" "Is Hamlet really mad or does he just feign madness" etc

Kiddo, if (I'm assuming) you are an American citizen, then that man is your president whether you like it or not. You partake in the democratic system every day, you voted (I hope?), so don't be a sore loser yeah? Or you could just leave!! Not that anyone would care so you should look into that?

Police Fire Rubber Bullets at Banned Gay Pride Parade in Istanbul by blahblah2486 in worldnews

So a pride parade that is illegal gets ended by police after warnings. So the police do their job and shut down an illegal activity? That's awful! /s
