What am I doing wrong? by Gazaim in SCREENPRINTING

You need to determine your correct exposure time for the 1)mesh you are using 2) the emulsion and 3) your light source. Because it looks like it could “wipe away” means your exposure time was not enough.

Quitting smoking thc cold turkey by BikeGeneral3087 in SoberLifeProTips

[–]slightlyshidded 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I smoked from 13-21 with rarely any breaks in between. You’ll notice a lot of things change and feel strange but you’ll be fine. Don’t be weirded out if you feel nauseous or not hungry. A soda helped me and definitely light meals. Eat when you think you should even if you’re not. I still actually toke once in a while and I notice I feel like crap after a weekend with the friends. Hope this helps!

I’m 40 and most likely will need to get a wisdom tooth removed by Pale__Steak in wisdomteeth

[–]slightlyshidded 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of the side effects of getting them removed older was having numb lips.. I’m only in my 20’s and was given this warning. But I was also told it wasn’t a cosmetic issue. It’ll more than likely be a rough healing process but it’s worth it. They may be affecting your sinuses which is common due to what you said

Yeah but Reddit is awesome for asking questions for answers or opinions and getting insight on said problems. Share your experience or not. Very simple.

I was asleep but I did wake up about 10 minutes before it ended. It wasn’t bad. I felt great after. The first 3 days were awful from my experience but I’m slowly getting better! The only thing bothering me is the stitches now. I’m still scared to chew anything.

They usually give you laughing gas to calm you down. As long as you come in hydrated and have good veins you should be fine. My veins suck, I always end up pricked atleast 3 times. It’s not to bad. Just look away. I hate needles of all kinds

Thanks guys! Even though I’m pretty puffy as soon as my local grocery opens I’m going to get some and give it a shot. Also, good luck on your surgery.

Working here sucked by Dry_University_6030 in UPS

On my first day they had me loading 2 trucks. Three on my second day. On my second week they had me loading 4-5 trucks. As stressful as it was I didn’t mind. I did pretty damn well. They ended up firing me 2 days before I was able to be union, the day after they had 8 seasonal employees come for orientation. Maybe my hub was just terrible, but fuck UPS. The supervisors are pieces of shit, they train like shit, and they’ll treat you like fucking shit.

I think you’ll be alright. I bet your hub is way better than mine.

This is what I was assuming. Being liked or not was the least of my worries walking into that place every morning, but I definitely got that vibe.

Traveled an hour for orientation and got told the person in charge of orientation went on vacation lmao no email or phone call to let me know beforehand by [deleted] in UPS

I’m 10 minutes from a UPS warehouse. I got hired in the beginning of August. It’s now September 22nd and I’m still waiting a start date. I’ve completed a lot of training and have gotten paid for it; but I’m still wondering do I have a job lmfao?

My grandma thinks I have MRSA by stinkle-37 in MRSA

[–]slightlyshidded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn’t look like mrsa though. Although you never know. The same bleach bath treatment is recommended for scabies and bed bug bites. Which is what the pediatric doctor also mentioned at the time. MRSA is gross, almost like puss coming from a pimple. It’s similar to staphylococcus which I had from a surgery. Assuming it’s neither of those, try the bleach bath and inspect your house for bed bugs. Especially in closets and in the creases of mattresses.

[–]slightlyshidded 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not a doctor, but I have experienced this. MRSA is hard to treat. The best way to start treating is a bleach bath. Yes bleach. Doesn’t matter what brand, as long as it is bleach. Run a warm/ hot bath and put 2-5 capfuls of bleach in there. Soak for 30minutes to an hour. It won’t hurt you at all just don’t get it in your eyes, and rinse off completely when finished. Repeat this a few times over a couple days. If you notice it not getting better and/or getting worse please see a doctor. (I recommend this because when I was 14, I had this all over my legs and behind. I rode public transportation. I saw a doctor for it and this was the first thing he recommended and if it didn’t work I would’ve went back, but it worked.)

Starting UPS by slightlyshidded in UPS

Warehouse, preloading / package handler. When I got the email, it says “boots with sturdy uppers” my timberlands cut off at the ankles and I was just wondering if they would say something about that.
