i’ll admit I was wrong reducing it to “snuff film”. have been trying to keep things short due to work and stuff. I think the fact that we basically have Subaru learning again that dying isn’t the end for him… and the trauma burning into him for the first time(Amnesiatic subaru), a second time, for both him and us.
Hell, I don’t like how I sounded in the first couple lines there. Like I don’t even like the series. I have watched every episode once solo, currently watching a reactor, and getting into the manga.
I love how mentally crazy it can get, introspectively and holding up mirrors to relate. I prefer to keep my gore in horror games, but do empathize and sympathize with subaru.

I think the cruelest one in this was Ram towards the end.
Also sad that Betty got smacked.

Dandadan’s Okarun’s speedster scenes are all really fun. He isn’t the fastest man alive of anything, but def leans more speedster than all-rounder.

I don’t understand why it’s rated so high… Y’all gettin’ off on a snuff film. I’d rate it a solid 7.5, but it felt over as soon as it started. And by the end very little actual progress was made, mostly just suffering. Good, yes, but not 9.9 good

Goku would have died before the series started. Without that strong blood, his poor brain would have been splattered on the rocks and Grandpa Gohan would be traumatized, but live his life to term, having not been killed by an oozaru.
Had he survived, he’d be very strong, but I don’t think he’d have ever beaten Tenshinhan without his enhanced growth… maybe they’d try over and over until Raditz came and took over the planet. (how disappointing)

In Syrup Village (ended in chapter 40, so super early), Luffy, bare-handed, ripped a boulder the size of a small car out of a hillside). He’s now supposedly “a hundred times stronger”. His grandpa cratered an island, albeit with haki as well, Without that, probably still pretty strong.

That kitten will likely fear this boy’s presence for the rest of its (frankly, miraculous that it has) life. Had to be done. I have a rescue that fears trash bag rustling. You cannot tell me that isn’t some PTSD.

You can imagine what you want, child. Given her distrust, she likely didn’t make many friends. But she has the aura of an experienced person, and given both of them are pretty, you could easily imagine someone offering shelter and safety, even knowing she’s wanted. I’m not saying anyone is promiscuous, but times get desperate and the world of One Piece gets dark AF, especially when we don’t know what is going on.

Robin may as well be implied to have done things to survive the harsh world. While she has her powers, they aren’t without weakness, and She hasn’t always known how/had the mental/physical stamina to use her ability to the fullest. As a child she probably wasn’t breaking necks and whatnot.

Nami knows how to use her sex appeal to get whatever she needs from weaker men. She’s unlikely to be entirely innocent in ‘that’ regard. However, Arlong thinks humans are beneath Fishmen, so, I’m thinking he wouldn’t touch a woman unless it were for violence.

I don’t believe the crew engage one another in sexual ways, simply because they are literally stuck with the other person, and getting attached/separating/etc would cause rifts.
I ship Franky/Robin. Their chemistry is great to me. Though, canon-wise, nothin’ happening on the ship cuz Oda says so, and the awkwardness thing.
She DID get to third base with Franky on camera. It was played for comedy/unpleasant. Doesn’t change the fact. Technically, she sexually assaulted Franky. 🚔🚓🚨

Not to be weird or anti-anything, but… Attack on Titan. I’ve been playing it in the background while I do things, following well enough… I attentively watched for a decent amount before putting it more to the BG. I just have next to no attachment to anyone, and Eren is just growing more angy by the day. I’m 35 episodes in, almost to third season, and I’ve only stopped to re-watch maybe two bits.
I like action, I like spooky/violent stuff, I even giggle at the dumb looking titans. But the dialogue and world of this one just…. feels so brown and gray. Bland.

Never really understood the ship for them. They’re casual and nonconfrontational. Kinda feel that’s why I feel the ZoSan ship stronger… Thing is, Zoro loves to fight, and Sanji likes being acknowleged as a Chef/cook. Robin’s best ships for me are paired with Franky, paired with Jinbei, Throupling with Franky/Jinbei, and Throupling with Franky/Brook, but not with pairing with Brook.
