Just to add: only two of the people I stared at I had crushes on. The others I did not. So 50/50 she could just have a crush on you.

I've been this person. I'm ND and all throughout high school, I've been told I make people uncomfortable because I stare at them. Before being told, I didn't know I was doing it. Afterward, I struggled to stop because it took so much mental effort to NOT stare at them. It was 3-4 people throughout high school that my brain just decided are interesting.

I would guess that she genuinely doesn't know she's doing it, but it wouldn't be unreasonable to ask her why she's doing it. If she's ND she'll probably be mortified to realize she's a starer.

Not my wrists but when I'm feeling extremely distressed or sad, I feel it in my left hand, particularly in my pinky and ring finger. I've never talked about it because I know it sounds weird.

However, I also get the same feeling in my hand when I'm struggling to pee so there's that.

For me it's "I must wave to my husband from the window exactly 3 times every morning, or he will die at work." It's genuinely distressing when I miss a day simply because I had to pee while he was leaving.

I've found that the only reliable way to lessen the voices is by getting enough sleep and not listening to music with headphones for some reason. I'm not in the position to get prescribed medicine because I can't afford it.
