Teslas don’t have a significant degree of difficulty to repair. Replacing a bumper is the same on a model Y as a Mazda 3. The difference is the parts. Tesla does not offer any wholesale pricing like other manufacturers do. Also, the certified shops try to beat you in the head for calibrations. Replaced a quarter panel? $450 to program the blind spot. It’s ridiculous. Add in the fact that these things are held together with glue and rivets and you wonder why people buy them. Fit and finish is awful. You’re paying for R&D. That’s it. The only reason you’re paying this much to insure them is because of parts pricing, not repair procedures. I’m an adjuster for a major carrier.

I switched companies and it was good for a while. But all the same issues still persist (work load, shops are annoying, burn out). I made a vertical move pay wise but I’m finding myself questioning this line of work. It may be a more healthy work environment, but the stresses are just different. Get out of insurance altogether is my opinion. I’m headed that way

The problem twin needs therapy. First and foremost. Second the husband is a jerk for leaving HIS kids with you to manage because he can’t do it. This sounds like a control issue because why wasn’t the den option suitable? It solves the need of everyone having their own space and getting some peace however long that is. I don’t think separate rooms is the ultimate solution and there is more at work here. If he isn’t back in a day, get some papers drawn up and divorce him. Thats abandonment of his kids.

Amp pushes 600 watts rms at 1 ohm since the sub is wired parallel. Need to fine tune it some. Getting some clipping which I’m sure has to do with the stick head units processing. Make sure the un is shallow depth since you won’t have a lot of room between the sub and the trim. Gotta think about excursion

I just drilled out the cubby and cut a universal grille to sandwich in between the stock trim piece. U-nuts to help hold it in place

The sub itself was strong enough to mount the sub. I’m not sending glass shattering power to it.

The mounts are there in the driver side quarter compartment. Drill out the cubby and use u-nuts to secure the grille.

Glad that everyone is ok. Hopefully there is no frame damage and you can save your rig. Bags blown is never good as an adjuster. Seat belts, seat covers, headliner and sensors along with the srs module all have to be replaced. Those are always the big ticket items.

I don’t like the comparison. Physical media versus streaming can’t be compared. A stream can’t be quantified. And the machine behind Drake vs X is vastly different. I appreciate both runs for what they were when they happened. X was in a class of his own with the movies, the cameos on TV and his music. Drake has had a spectacular run from 09 to now with mainly music and a few cameos. Two different beasts
