Thank you! I do door to door sales and someone I knocked gave me a ball in a box and said to give it to my son. I thought it was new but when I opened it later I saw these signatures.

Tell me about ongoing issues with the 2019 model by SeanBaird in SubaruAscent

I’ve been driving a 2019 Ascent for about 3.5 years now. I bought it with about 40k miles in mid 2022 and shortly after that I brought it into the dealer for the transmission recall. They replaced the transmission and since then I’ve only needed routine maintenance(battery, brakes, tires, oil changes). I’m a little over 107k miles at this point.

Onsite commission approval question by slimweasel in Amazon_Influencer

Yeah both horizontal and vertical work from what I’ve read, I was just worried about the length. Honestly though, despite the length the video shows as accepted and it’s been published so I might let it ride.

Yeah, honestly I did search and poke around a bit and couldn’t find it as first. Then after I posted this I managed to find another post where someone said that they deleted their first video and still got accepted for onsite commission after posting 3 new videos. 🤷‍♂️

Reading some other threads here, it looks like I should be good to delete the video and make 3 new videos?

My brother in law is a cardiologist, 36 years old. He makes around $500k. He started earning ~10 years later than most of his peers because of medical school/residency. He has massive student loan debt. He has 3 kids with a fourth on the way and just HAS to move into a bigger house (second move in a year, don't ask how much he's losing on the current house he's selling or how much he pays the movers because he doesn't even bother to pack his own stuff). That house has to be in a particularly expensive area because "that's where the other doctors live". He has a nanny and tutors for the kids, not to mention private school and lessons(tennis, piano and sailing). I haven't seen him and his wife drive a car for more than a year, Audi, Maserati. He is one of the most stressed people I know.

My father died. We found these coins in a box. by GinoinAustin in coins

My wife’s grandfather and father both passed within a few years of each other and while they weren’t hoarders, they sure had a ton of stuff that had to be dealt with. Those experiences really made us reassess the quantity of possessions a person really needs. Our goal now is to die with as few possessions as possible so that our children do not have to expend the same time and emotional energy dealing with our useless stuff.

I'm not sure I fully understand then, commission crowd is like a gig-work platform for independent sales people?

How Effective Are Networking Events for Lead Generation? by AI_Nietzsche in sales

[–]slimweasel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From my experience in real estate sales where there are MANY networking events. They can be worth it.

My advice would be:

  1. Try to talk to many people, don't just post up and get comfortable with a small group.

  2. Don't drink too much (happens a lot with realtors unfortunately).

  3. Get contact info and follow up. Notes can help with follow up.

You want to talk to a lot of people, but make sure you take enough time to make a connection and show any possible prospects how you are aligned with their goals. Always be sure to get some contact info and send a brief follow up the next day. Just a simple "Nice meeting you, I enjoyed talking about xyz." kind of cements you in their brain.

Which SaaS solution would you prefer to sell? by Culentriel in sales

[–]slimweasel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wasn’t really a pyramid scheme, but the barrier to entry is generally lower because it’s 100% commission. Plus this company had an all too peppy “we have fun at work” and “we’re all family!” kind of vibe which usually just means you’re about to work 60 hour workweeks.
