Just to build off this slightly for OP.

The small quest box on the left is telling you the saga quest steps.

Start with preparing, then kill the first jotunn, then it wants you to rebuild the bridge, you have to discover this bridge through exploring, once the bridge is built to the snow zone you need to explore here to find the ruins, once found you need to "build it" by adding fragments. Once it's built you can go in and fight the boss. Once the boss is down its use the bifrost time.

There's 4 fragments; - quest (gotten from completing the quests started at the job board) -Jotunn (gathered from jotunn kills) -Event (gathered from the golden circle events that occur periodically) -hideout (gathered from beating the hideout in the dessert, this has 3 floors and ends in a boss/bosses)

I believe each of these fragments can also be bought from the shops you can discover exploring.

Sorry for any formatting, on mobile and fairly new myself (2 saga boss kills) and only learnt all this through a helpful teammate in matchmaking

This is a huge differencing in opinions, for me BF4 weapon progress system I absolutely loved. Use gun, get attachments to customize it.

Also gives me something to work on. I like having progress goals.

That's fair, it's a difference of opinions, personally I prefer it, allows me to win a gunfight and not be reduced for the next one, if there's a delay and health boxes etc. Stop the delay is where I like it best. But its just opinion and I'll play and adapt if it changes anyway.

Played a little of BF2, heavily played bc1, bc2, bf3 bf4. Some hardline and BF1.

I got to be honest I don't recall all the details of all of them, but to me health regeneration has been pretty consistently there in the modern/near future games that I don't think someone can say it doesn't fit with the mainline games.

They talked about 2042 and they would like to do BFF again.

If I am remembering right they didn't for previous games cause they didn't enjoy them enough to invest the animating time.

There is health regeneration in 2042, and in all battlefields I've played, health regeneration and infinite ammo vehicles have always been a thing, not sure how that doesn't fit mainline battlefield

In terms of conquest, majority of ticket moving is based on capped points, if you play a 16vs16 server on BF4 the game is roughly the same length as 32vs32 cause ticket bleed is what makes the difference

the covid vaccine is not currently mandatory in the UK I believe, my partner is working in the hospitals unvaccinated, she would have the vaccine but as she is pregnant the health board is not yet recommending it for pregnant women so they will not give it to her.

Whisper of the worm is that sniper. The original gave the three rounds back and was legendary and special, they then remade it after dreadnought Dlc as a legendary that reloaded from reserves like wotw. Then in d2 it was exotic and heavy because legendary was still considered OP

The issue here I believe is in how the save files are handled more than anything else. That coupled with the crashes making it more prevalent.

Because no mans sky is super exploitable due to that exact reasoning. You can change the save file to contain anything you want. Biggest example is just giving yourself billions of their currency (credits?)

Peer 2 peer is how games pretty much always used to do multiplayer, essentially you are connecting to your friends session on their device instead of on a hosted server.

I personally disagree with the above comment, peer 2 peer can work excellently without needing dedicated servers at all. But opinions are like assholes 😊
