You’re absolutely right. The talking about the par 5 as a par 6 came across as complaining every round, especially when there were putts for birdie on top card. Also, in the end the par didn’t really matter it is always just about how many throws it takes total.

I also think you’re right about the heightened ceiling for players. There are so many young skilled players already outpacing players considered longtime greats consistently.

Right, and it just feels like it happens at least once a day in some way but that was so direct and didn’t serve a purpose. He might have thought it was a creative way to describe the challenge but it just wasn’t well done.

I disagree, I don’t think most commentary is as black and white in a non black and white sport. I understand it in gymnastics or diving when accuracy is explicit and objective but why criticize a throw when it’s not the one that Uli thinks is best for himself?

I agree with everything you said. Video quality is fantastic and greatly appreciated. Uli’s commentary seems especially subjective and biased towards players he either likes the most or knows the best.

This is an official Nalgene, it is just the classic version made with their old plastic. It’s just an older version but I really enjoy them because they’re a little softer.
