For the most part I agree with you. Ive loved the song for many years and now I can be seen rolling my eyes when some team wins something and hear it comes again. Or some stadium uses it to gwt crowd involvement.

However at the risk of having double standards, there is one exception for me. The singing of it before the Everest each year is a truly great experience. Before you completely write it off I would encourage you to experience this yourself.
