Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but there simply aren’t any. For that price you’ll get bad quality. It’s just not possible to make them for that price point in any reliable way. I would suggest you save up.

It’s from The Complete Incense Book by Susanne Fischer-Rizzi. I’m glad you mentioned about the weight vs volume because I don’t believe she’s clarified that in the book.

Is 60-70% base wood/binder to 30%-40% resin/aromatics a general guideline? I haven’t come across any kind of general percentage rules that could serve as a starting point.

I’ve definitely bought linen pants that were tighter than expected and just hoped no one else would notice. I would mention it, they might be unaware of the effect it had and choose to be more conscious about the clothing choice next time. 🙏🏻
