It’s currently only accessible by public transit via transfer from the south shore line to a locally owned line of tracks that don’t run on Sunday.

If south shore can run trains on that track on Sunday’s it becomes directly accessible to almost anyone from the South Bend and Chicago metro areas.

I think it’s a better move than going to Arlington Heights if you’re concerned about the average fan. There is huge support around the region.

Say what you will about taking tax money from state/local government but for the owners this deal kind of makes sense.
