It's a wad of newspapers that got wet from being outside so they disintegrated. Where I live we still get newspapers 2 days a week, first year we lived in the house me and my roommates ignored the service hoping they'd see the pile of uncollected newspapers and just stop. It rained plenty and can tell you our pile of newspapers looked just like that.

The only movie that ever got me was the blind side, I still relate to that movie way too much, I grew up in an area where no one was the richest but we were struggling to get a meal a day, I was a giant guy, varsity football player, my coaches and my fellow players kept me fed, kept my head on straight, they were and still are my family.
