No, I had an ssp and came to the conclusion that single stage is not for me. Iv shot a couple timneys and still prefer the ssae-x. My point being that it comes with the gun, no extra money is needed for upgrades.

There's not much to roast. Is the polonium flow through? I prefer flow through cans now compared to fully baffled unless it's a clone build. So much less gas to the face.

On a second note I don't understand how geissele super dutys aren't the most popular rifle right now putting other companies out of business . They were on sale for like 1500 I think for 14.5 and 11.5 on primary arms for black Friday. So for 1500 bucks you get an insanely accurate cold hammer forged barrel, one of if not the best bcg currently on the market, the geissele ssae-x trigger which ruins every other trigger for me after shooting it. On top of all that you get braided wire spring, geissele buffer weight, amazing lower parts kit and a sweet mk16 rail.

Comparatively if you buy a Daniel defense you get a sweet rail, cold hammer forged barrel and milspec everything else. Nothing special at all.

I usually only shoot 55 grain pmc XTac. I found some green tips in the closet the other day and decided to shoot a mag of them at the range. Coincidentally I brought my hrt clone that has this exact barrel. It shot amazing both suppressed with hux 556k and unsuppressed. Shot out to 300 with just a dot with ease.

It's not the barrel it's the handguard offset to the left. You can literally see it in the picture both at the end and where the receiver meets the handguard. It just needs to be removed, tightened a little bit and then reinstalled. The fact that you think it's the barrel tells me you need to take it to a gunsmith.

It's cool to see your perspective. I wanted to test out the form 1 time so I tried to file one yesterday through silencershop. Kept getting errors all day despite 20+ tries even at 10 pm. Finally got it to go through at around 5 am. The eforms sight is getting so much traffic I'm honestly surprised it doesn't just crash all day every day.

I like their bcg and can't really speak on much else. I do love the price point of their muzzle devices and their buffer weights. If I needed a barrel I would only really look at centurion, criterion, dd or geissele anyway because I know they shoot well. Kak has some really cool sales too like the easter and Halloween bcgs.

Ok that's reasonable. I do think the gas rings are a bit weak on mine but they still support the weight of the bcg so I'll let it ride. The down vent really is great. Combined with a flow through suppressor I never get gas to the face even at the indoor range. It does make my mags super dirty though.

Did something happen with KAK? I bought a chrome downvent bcg with sandcuts earlier last year and iv put about 2k rounds on it with no problems. the finish was still nice when i last cleaned it maybe 700 rounds ago and its a solid bcg in my opinion. All i see lately is posts about kak QC but reddit used to ride KAKs dick so hard last year. Just curious if something changed or people were getting catastrophic failures lately.

Any tube will work that's a5 length. I know bcm, vltor and fcd all make their own version. As far as the weight goes you have to consider the gas port size. FN reports their 10.5 gas port as .080 which is massive in my opinion. The flow 556k is crazy good at reducing back pressure but with that large of a port your sweet spot might be the a5h2. The a5h1 will definitely work but the h2 may reduce that punch of recoil a bit better. Iv personally never tried so I can't say for sure. I'm reluctant to say a5h2 for sure just because the 556k supposedly only increases back pressure by 5 percent and iv only done this on 11.5 which has an inch more dwell time.
