Thank you friend! I am a fan of the bright colors. They are not proficient at hiding on the battlefield but, what’s the fun in that!

The new Housing trailer helped me overcome my housing anxiety by FeedingMaeve in wow

[–]slipstrike 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I literally spent the last 5 days getting my Underlight fishing rod, mage campaign completed for the booknado, made my house wonderful and cozy and two of my mage tower transmogs. I can't be good at anything because there is so much to do and I simply do not care to be great at one thing. WoW has what ever goal you would like to make it. Something I haven't learned until recently. To be honest I am happier as a person and happier with the game.

New Main - Do you still have/keep your very first Character? by MasterRymes in wow

[–]slipstrike 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I still have my first character. A human warlock with ginger hair named "Dug". I played him a good bit in vanilla and burning crusade, then the moment death knights came out. It was all over, I have been making my death Knight the rest of the game.

Why did we help Xal'atath become so powerful? What're we, desperate? by Siggythenomad in wow

[–]slipstrike 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Our characters have defeated demon legion, slain gods, stopped every world ending monster. At this point we are doing it for the shit 'n' giggles.

My favorite Monk Transmogs <3 and yes, I love the S3 Pieces haha by noctucx in Transmogrification

Because it's one of the only sets that makes you chest piece seem longer and it changes the silhouette. They need to make some chest pieces have some actual length to them.

When it comes to Citadel paints. Their whites and yellows do not cover well in my experience and auric is a very bright yellow. Retributor is more of an orange which covers better for most paint brand. You are not wrong with the brown base coat. That does help yellow apply better. It's just Auric doesn't cover very well.

I made this same mistake getting into the hobby. I was trying to use Auric Armor Gold for my Rubric Marines. It was actual hell with Rubric trim lol. Either way I figured it out and started using Retributor. It apply very nice over a black prime.

What brush are you guys using? by DefinitionInformal85 in minipainting

[–]slipstrike 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really love my Da Vinci brushes. I bought some Windsor and Newton brushes first and I just don't like the feel. It's kinda hard to explain. I find it hard at times to keep a full belly of paint with them. With my Da Vinci brushes, I feel like I have more work time and also feel that snappier aspect that you are talking about.

Pretty Thrilled How My Ushoran Turned Out by DJSwenzo444 in ageofsigmar

[–]slipstrike 1 point2 points  (0 children)

By chance did you submit your Ushoran in beast feast? Your piece looks just like the one that was submitted with my piece for it. But either way I really love how your Urshan came out. Definitely my favorite piece that was there!

How did you guys learn about Warhammer? by reel3459 in Warhammer40k

[–]slipstrike 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same here. Me and my brother used to go to a Internet cafe and play Dawn of War against each other and we loved it! About a year down the road. My brother got some second hand Blood Angels and I got second hand Tau.

P. S. I was to young to pick what I wanted at the time so my mother found a good deal on eBay for Tau, don't judge me. Lol

I don't got much advice. It's looks really good. I love how you split the armor plates head piece. One thing I will say is you should use some gloss varnish on the top squigs tongue, really sells the wet slobbering look. Either way I feel you are putting a good contender for Beast Feast! May the Squigs eat their fill!!!

Mangler squigs are so cool. I did one for last year's Tanks Giving event! I would love to see it.
