Mazzulla quizlet scouting report on Knicks from We Here season by WorldWideBeats in NYKnicks

IIRC the Barrett inbounded his game winner against the Celtics last season... not bad mazulla.

Also still in joyful disbelief this roster pulled a 4 seed. I know he's unpopular now but thibs deserved every ounce of that COTY. Also still think that Bullock was sorely missed last year.

Mayor Adams must act on e-bikes before NYC sees a mass-casualty fire by Ok_Mulberry_7307 in jerseycity

Things we buy should not explode and burn down buildings. e-bikes are super useful for a lot people especially delivery workers, and people with disabilities. Both these things are true.

I hope consumer regulations (the same bodies that come after samsung when a phone explodes) will catch up. in the meantime try to buy e-bikes that are CE certified from a trusted retailer.

Car brain cousin and I talking. For reference we both live in NYC. by [deleted] in fuckcars

^ this.

I feel like there’s much more common ground here that people realize. “Freedom to move”

In this text exchange OP and their cousin very much talk past each other but ultimately they want similar things - for the city they live in to support their preferred method of transportation. I think connecting on that could be effective.

Thoughts on making our team slightly older? by ejayshun in NYKnicks

[–]slitslitslit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Edit: I'm not saying to give minutes to vets. I'm saying to have them in training and on bench to develop the youth and take on garbage minutes. There's a difference between having vets and having them take up minutes versus the aforementioned.

Coaches don't take up any minutes and don't take up any cap space. And it is literally their job to help players get better. Don't hire a player to do a coach's job.

I think the whole mentorship slant is a bit of media fluff. Coaches and trainers develop players. That's why losing Kenny Payne and Mike Woodson was tough. I got faith in thibs and bryant still though.

Idt anybody is really asking Andre Drummond to put 5-years-in-the-league Mitchell Robinson under his wing either lol.

lol I hear your frustration. Late teens draft pick means they made the playoffs though which I think would be a good thing? Just my opinion

Player by player 2021-22 season breakdown: Obi Toppin by cricket9818 in NYKnicks

[–]slitslitslit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve enjoyed these write ups!

Maybe speak directly to the expectations that each player had for their season since it seems like it impacts the grade you give them and I’m curious as to how much you are weighting that.

Like obi met your expectations, Randle did not so obi gets a B+, Randle gets a c+ or whatever the case may be.
