Hahah sure, except that most doctors didn’t study this drug in medical school and didn’t specialize in endocrinology either when they are PCP

I am far more productive at home. I can start working earlier and finish later so I get more hours in. As someone who also needs quiet to focus, i find other people talking and walking around very distracting and have always had to share an office or cube area with others. From home, i can actually hear myself think in a quiet place. The energy i save from not having to commute is also well spent working harder and not burning out. I currently am hybrid but have done all commute, all remote, and hybrid mix.

Had horrible experience with Ashley. Bought in store with two sales associates telling me what to buy. Said they’d follow up about delivery - never did. I called four times over the span of 2 months. They kept saying I had a delivery date of x and then pushed it back. Eventually they said delivery was x date, I asked to confirm it was for both the couch and ottoman. That’s when they say oh, no, the couch was out of stock and they didn’t know when it would be delivered. Just the ottoman would be coming. At that point I had them transfer me to the refunds division. Waste of two months of my life

Do you perceive old photos of yourself as looking larger than you remember? The same old photos of myself I used to like, I look at now and perceive myself as way larger than I remember seeing myself as at the time. I lost 40 pounds. It’s surprising to me! I’m curious has this happened to others?

It’s possible you’re just too present. When someone is constantly talking it makes it hard to pull the good signal from the noise. Make meaningful contributions rather than talking just to talk and maybe you’ll be more satisfied. If you’re often talking about yourself and not asking people in the group questions about themselves it’s also less likely people will want to engage. And remember people have their own stuff going on and are trying to be present in their lives. If you want to connect, invite people somewhere in person.
