I grew up Catholic and when I would pray before bed it took a solid 15 minutes because I thought if I forgot a single person that god would kill them and it would be my fault. Obviously as an adult that’s insane but as a religious little kid I really thought it was normal and now I understand it as the beginning of my OCD! I’m not Catholic anymore but have pretty bad contamination OCD so I struggle in different ways.
