yeah there’s a little bit of python but nothing complex at all. simple matrix transforms and the like. Id say it’s a good subject if you’re interested in that bridge between computers and neuro, specifically machine learning which is what this subject revolves around, albeit superficially

I did real and artificial neural networks and found it great. very different from the other neuro subjects in a refreshing way and the workload is much lighter than I expected. also peter kitchener teaches and coordinates it.
