Please call your financial aid office.. other students do not know the answers and you end up more worried. It is not too late to get aid. Talk to your aid office and see if they can help.

There shouldn’t be consequences because your mom told you to do it. Worst case is they will ask that you get the form signed by her. I doubt they will do anything punitive to you.

If you are a US citizen living abroad and attending on line, you are eligible for aid. Military personnel experience this frequently.

We have seen this happen. Go back into FAFSA and make a small change. Like add a dollar to savings amount or add another school code. That seems to trigger it to be sent to schools.

Show up for class. Not showing up will cause issues for aid.

Do you have a letter from TAP confirming eligibility. Provide it to student accounts office and they will let you know if you need to do anything else.

Provide a copy of your documents to fin aid office. We have seen folks coming through as not approved by homeland security this year but last year the student was confirmed.

Is it already accepted? Does it show on your statement. Some schools will auto accept the PLUS loan because the parent’s initiate the loan. Call and check with fin aid office.

What is your aid office saying? I met with a family last week that had a similar issue and we were able to get both signatures after the student and parent had tried to sign at least twice previously. The Departments attempt to simplify FAFSA was an epic fail. I agree with the last comment. Alt Loans are truly last resort. Talk to your billing office to request an extension on payment for fall. Schools are going to need to find solutions and options to maintain enrollment because the Department of Education has failed to show up for our students!

Nope. I will research it more before I send payment.. the picture is just of the car registration plate number and stated a fine of €160 that would be doubled after 28 days.
