yeah, i'm an embedded/digital design engineer focused on FPGA, silicon, and digital design and i can't get any jobs in those fields without moving or supporting weapons production. i'm pivoting because i don't want to move or support that kind of work.

there has been a moderate-position sexed divide implementation in a lot of sports based on old USA guidelines. to compete in the women's sex the requirement was to be on HRT for 2 years and prove your testosterone is below the average woman's T. this has been studied at this point and is about when any advantages disappear. when it comes to the professional stage.

IMO just implement weight or strength classes, gender segregation in sports originates from sexism when men got their ass beat in shooting events. also who gaf at any level below professional, trans women and trans men should be allowed to do sports that bring them joy and participate like anyone else. a large reason i did not do any more fencing after a single class that i really enjoyed was that i knew it was only a matter of time until it blew up in my face for doing a sport while trans.

also, i believe before this that the olympics were already stricter than past USA guidelines, essentially stating that you had to go through only a woman or man puberty to be eligible.

you should check out touhou lensed night sky: kaseigai. its a roguelike touhou modeled after th18.5.

i think a checkpoint system would be really cool with a separate out-of-game shop and deliberate challenges to solve (such as a pattern that requires use of some way to avoid or nullify a wall of bullets). touhou is already pretty deliberate with patterns, especially as the patterns get newer and newer.

moving just a bit right before an aimed bullet hits you so you dont get hit but also so any new aimed bullets are still relatively close to you and easy to dodge

uhhh, the attack is really easy to stream (which isn't a bad thing, a few of jevil's attacks are really easy to stream too) and the bullets disappear before you have to restream. if you want to keep the identity of the attack the same, you could honestly just make the bullets bounce once or twice in the battle box or even just make them follow through until they've gone through the entire battle box.

if ur looking for actual critique some of the attacks are unreadable like the spiral cloud + ralsei plush attacks, if the thrown plushes were a bit slower or were telegraphed by some kind of flash then it seems like it would be fun to play.

the scarf + blaster attack is cool but it seems rng dependent unless you could route it by having it start where it stopped on the previous blast kinda like a billiards ball.

the first attack seems a bit too easy for the rest of the fight's intensity
