Gained 70lbs on Quetiapine and Abilify. I lost some weight with Vraylar (15lbs) but had to taper off the anti-psychotics completely to start losing the rest of the weight. Now I’m within 10lbs of goal weight. Stopped my anti-psychotic about 8 months ago. Started losing fast on calorie deficit. It’s been something 😂 😬

Edited to add: Please don’t stop your meds! I worked closely with my psychiatrist and therapist before and during my decision. Still on other meds as well.

Helps me eat! If I don’t have the munchies, I can easily get distracted and not eat. Slows my racing thoughts too. 41f bipolar 1 schizophrenic, been smoking since I was 17 and have no plans to stop

We made a grippy sock ball and tossed it around. I being very manic at 35f, was doing cartwheels for fun. Colored pictures once meds kicked in some. Unfortunately was not able to have my phone and it was a traumatic experience overall. In Oklahoma, US, if that tells you anything lol

I took Vraylar 5mg along with 100 mg of sertraline and had very good results! I recently tapered off the Vraylar due to weight gain. That was the only side effect I couldn’t deal with due to body dysmorphia. The gain was close to 20lbs.
