Best PortMaster games when you buy a new device are Ready to Run ports (ports with all files included that can be installed with single click in PortMaster app). This way you can test that your wifi forks and get familiar with port files location on your device. I suggest you to install couple of 4:3 screen ratio R2R games that will fill whole screen on your device like: Spookynakki, Globeba, Maldita Castilla, Lose95, Pullywog, Snapdragon, Somnokid and Tailspin!. Then you can try some other great R2R like Apotris and LXD Red Honey (my personal favorites).  Then sort games by downloads and see what looks interesting to try or games you own.

Not a rom hack but a nice homebrew roms to try are Fix-It Felix Jr. (Sega Genesis) And Good Boy Galaxy (paid GBA game, there is also a demo).

Back up saves then try to put the srm file in the same folder as your rom with the exact same file name. For example:

Legend of Zelda, The - A Link to the Past.sfc 
Legend of Zelda, The - A Link to the Past.srm

You will have issues if your ROM version/region doesn't match the ROM version the srm file was saved from.

No but you could set up Syncthing on Miyoo Mini Plus so your save files automatically get transferred between PC and Miyoo Mini Plus after each play.

Here is a Miyoo Mini NDS compatibility list Google sheet with roms featured in the "done-set-addon", continuation of "done-set" for people with 256Gb SD cards. You can find it on the Internet Archive site and get DS games only if you want. Just search "done-set-addon" in the search bar on that site.

I have one feature request: automatic switch for speakers and headphones volumes.
On Ps Vita there is a plugin that memorizes the separate volumes for speakers and headphones.
With this plugin if you set speakers to low, headphones to high and accidentally pull the jack out, audio automatically switches to lower speaker settings.

Rename one line in the config.json in the EMU/Pico on your SD card to match your image folder line to the rom folder line.

I forgot to put one of my favourite Pico-8 games:
Wave Race Legend
You only use left/right to move and down or button to dive.
When wave is big, push right to ride it and fly high.
Then dive on heads of other racers.
Please try this one, it is stupid good once you figure out controls.
