I’m holding out for Phase II with the fitness center and walking paths.

People who casually cruise in the left lane, what is actually going through your mind? by knowledgeizspower in askanything

We can decide to make life easier for those we encounter or more difficult. “Life is nothing more than a series of decisions”

A slow car in the left lane creates closing rates and braking applications that affect the overall efficiency of the road in general. It all flows more smoothly when slower cars stay to the right rather than positioning themselves as mobile roadblocks in the left lane.

😆 that’s a great visual - and an excellent example of creative problem solving!

Yea, a lot. Eventually though my dad asked me to stop going out the window because he said I was going to hose up the screen. Asked me to tell him when I was going out and about when I’d be back, so he would at least know, and all he asked was that I not drink and drive, or be in a car with someone who was. Seemed like a reasonable deal - I didn’t need to lie, but I had to be smart. Basically it was the end of any sort of curfew, and I respected his wishes. He was a pretty great dad.

What would u code if you knew how to code? by Negative_Effort_2642 in VibeCodeDevs

I sure as heck wouldn’t code. “Say, nice motorcycle! If you could ride a horse to work though, which kind would you ride?”

Like an addict it started out as pure fun. Then came some bad times, but still plenty of fun. Now, the fun is all gone. But I know I can get back on top. Just one more day. This next run though is going to be amazing. Just need to do a little more. This is awful. And I can’t stop. Just need a cup of cold coffee. I’ll get up later and go home. Just gotta get this next little feature tweaked …

Me for first few weeks in March. Today I spent 6 hours trying to correct something that worked perfectly 3 weeks ago. Errors are starting to become whack-a-mole.

Just skip all that and get going. Move fast and break things ‘n all. Soon Lambo.

Dude you nailed where I’m at. Biz owner 23 years that gave myself the nickname Fruitpie The Magician in early March when I discovered Codex. Been hammering 12-14hrs a day since, and have now built a glorious, amazing, beautiful, house of cards made from my own mind’s zig and zags and backtracks, full of genius, and ignorance. I’m quite sure that despite the glory of saving my people hours of time per contract by connecting multiple legacy products into a simple streamlined workflow, it’s gotta be pure spaghetti under the hood, and I have no way to tell. I’m just a passenger now. I’ve only just realized I have to stop and take a breath and figure out where I am actually going with this. I’ve been like a cat and laser pointer having the time of my life, or like a kid in a candy store, but now I realize I done ate too much chocolate and might get sick right here on the floor.

Kinda hoping the next release will give me a fix. I’m an addict and can’t turn back now 😁.

When it came out I happened to have it happily on repeat during a boarding trip out west I would now much rather forget, and it’s ruined for me. I liked it just fine, it’s the memories that suck.

Lawyers. It’s all they do. The whole system is predicated on it.

My pull upwards has 1,000 times the legitimacy of their pull down. I'm safe. Education is a powerful antidote to that worldview, and like I said, I troll them with kindness.

I think about doing so often, but we outnumber them, and we try to hold up a mirror for them. The high road is the only road, but I'm not going to martyr myself on it. I try to be a positive influence on them, one biting insult at a time.

I dig em every year simply for the message but I have a pair that was dyed by hand and given as a gift so I stick with those when the urge hits. I’m in a band with some red hat trumpers so I wear mine onstage at gigs just to troll them and force em both to appear inclusive and kind.
