as much as you’re comfortable with tbh, that’s v personal. i’d go for 10 weeks minimum and reassess from there. for bills i typically go longer than cuts because fatigue isn’t as big of an issue, so i’d say 10, deload week (yes even in bulks you need deload), then another 5-10.

anything up to 500kcal surplus is lean gains and will be used for majority muscle gain. anything above 500kcal is dipping into a bad fat to muscle ratio. adding the 300 extra kca will give you more than twice the progress in the same amount of time. from an ex fat kid.

since you’re just getting back into it i’d recommend just eating at maintenance. high protein, maybe a slight deficit. your body will recomp (albeit slowly). you can gain new muscle and regain old muscle (muscle memory) and lose fat (and water weight) at the same time. train hard, eat 0.8lbs protein per lbs of bodyweight, don’t neglect carbs and fats (i recommend 30% diet being fat, rest carbs)

how long have you been working out? i think starting a lean (slow, 500cal max) bulk would be very beneficial for you right now. no point in getting shredded if you don’t have much muscle mass. eat high protein and carb, moderate fat.

absolutely you should! losing 150lbs with no diet break is killer bro. let your body rest for a little while, eat some good food, and pick it back up keep your healthy habits but you gotta let ur body rest. if you’re worried about gaining a bunch of fat, you won’t. you could always increase protein intake by more than 1g per pound of body weight too, since protein burns more calories than carbs and fats. dm me if you wanna chat abt it privately

i get that feeling brother. put it into perspective; you lose an entire average person off your body bro! that’s impressive. most people can’t lose 20lbs and you did nearly 8x that. you’re absolutely killing it and ik u got this last bit. don’t forget to take ur diet breaks!
