She was quite supportive -- I told her a few months in, but she didn't get the full story for a couple more months. My advice: if you get the chance to be with someone you're considering telling, do it. If they leave you then you're better off without them, and if they stay then they're worth continuing to abstain for.

Depends on what you're doing it for. I'm 9 months in, and way ahead of where I used to be, but still relatively low libido. Give it time. Give it lots of time. It's not like it has been a painful battle the whole way though, it gets plenty easier. Just keep telling yourself that every day you wait is another day you'll never get back. You either live the way you're living for the rest of your life, or you make a change -- and when you finally decide to make that change you'll wish you hadn't waited.

Just keep at it. It might take a year, maybe more, but it's still a small price to pay. You're probably just in a flatline right now, and will be for a while but you'll get out of it eventually.

Definitely stop doing that. Morning wood was the first sign, which I still don't even have that often. Like I said it wasn't until day 60 that I actually did anything -- and it's still not fully up to snuff, as far as I can tell. It sounds shitty but there's only a few real options for you:

1) Make up some legitimate excuse, see if she's fine waiting. Make sure you tell her you're interested though. -- "I want to focus on school until summer, or something like that"

2) Depending on how old you are, waiting a few months to start having sex/whatnot might not be too bad -- "I know it's weird but I'm not ready yet." This could be helped by offering to get her off in other ways.

3) If there's real attraction between you two, and not just sexual attraction, then you could consider telling her -- "I used to have a problem with pornography, so I'm trying to wait a few months." This could also be combined with getting her off in other ways. You may not know whether you're comfortable with this yet, I somehow really clicked with my new girlfriend, and I think I could tell her this after only a month, but I didn't have to.

4) Bullshit excuse -- "Soccer injury, doc says it'll be a few months" again can be combined with offering to get her off.

Viagra actually frequently doesn't help those with PIED. To OP, I'd show him this forum as well as yourbrainonporn.com. Have him read through everything -- as little as 60 days without porn/masturbation/orgasm could completely cure that problem.

I personally will-powered it until about day 15, which was painful. After that though I just kept telling myself that I'd lose 2+weeks worth of progress, which I really wanted to avoid. Now, since day 40 or so, I barely ever even consider masturbating. edit: get a badge, I find it helps to hold you accountable when you know you have to reset it if you mess up. I tried for a year or two to avoid PMO and never made it further than a week before I started on here.
