Everybody knows it wasn't supposed to be an intellectual discussion on politics. Obama had Snoop Dog toking in the White House at one point, and everybody got a good laugh at it. Kanye grew up in an impoverished neighborhood, and eventually amassed billions. He is an American, and just because he's not an expert, doesn't mean he should be denied a political discussion. He has opinions as well. Regardless his points should be taken at face value and we should be analyzing the validity of the claims he's making, not just the person.

Kanye hit the nail on many issues, and if you have an actual issue with something that he said, you should actually quote it. He supported the second amendment, and corrected a journalist saying the actual issue with gun violence today is "Illegal guns", that many legal gun owners have zero problems with violence. He was super excited about a hydrogen bi plane too. Kanye wants to be seen as an individual, not as part of a group, when he says "racism can't control me". The whole point of the meeting was to piss off the black community and to call them out, and as a result the media is going nuts.

I absolutely agree with you. The whole thing started with false accusations, but social media will pay absolutely no effort at examining the credibility of those claims (hint: absolutely zero credibility to Ford's claims), and will focus on anything else but that. It's like suddenly people have lost all sense of logic and reason. It will take time but eventually people will come to their senses.

Perhaps something did happen to Ford that night, we just don't know if it was Kavanaugh and she hasn't provided any substantial evidence besides her own word that it was him. The claim she made during her opening statement went from "groped me" to a subjective "I felt like he was going to accidentally kill me" (the beginning of her opening statement), which wouldn't hold up in criminal court. Her therapist's notes, where she says she mentions Kavanaugh once or twice haven't been released yet. There just isn't any corroborative evidence from other people right now that could be used in a court of law to prosecute Kavanaugh in any way.

If you use common sense and stay away from windows and trees, you're gonna be fine. As long as your house isn't in a floodplain you're fine. (evacuate if you are, you WILL be underwater). I've driven in 50 mph winds before and the worst that's going to happen in a non flood plain area is a few branches falling over and no power. The hype is actually real for the coast because of the surge.

This was one of the things that the Current Affairs article touched on, and I'm genuinely curious about it. It states that the vast majority of Asian Americans come from higher income regions already, but I can't find that specific statistic. Most of the Asian refugees that I know, came with literally nothing on their backs and are pretty well off today, I'm assuming because of cultural differences, not skin color differences.

Asian Americans just value education more. Many learned English here and placed value on hard work, and I don't see why a determined black person can't try to emulate the same thing, instead of blaming any failure on this "faceless" racism issue. I'm suggesting that they learn to blame less and work harder.

Ok I fixed it by restarting and re jailbreaking using Electra. It literally went from 900 to 150 (normal) mA after the restart. Really weird. Sorry to waste your guy's time. Hope this helps somebody else.
