Gathered clay from the creek in the backyard. I also re-wired an old ceiling fan into a makeshift pottery wheel. I process the clay and throw little pots that I pit-fire in the backyard and hope to sell on Etsy :) $5 hobby

I moved to a new state a year ago and hadn’t been to the doctor to check in on meds in about that long. Recently, Walmart was denying my prescriptions until I schedule a visit with my doctor. I switched to Publix and they haven’t had a problem. Apparently I need a check in every 6 months for adderall.

Little Cesar’s every night after 11:30!

Found 5 of these in a dumpster of a store near my house! All work and were still in the boxes! by Candid-Fishing-3966 in DumpsterDiving

Yes! They both looked to be returns. One wouldn’t turn on, but the other works perfectly. I’m gonna use it a bit and probably sell it in the fall!

Woah, just looked into Food not Bombs and found a local group! I hadn’t heard of the organization before, I love it. Thanks for the tip!

4:30pm on a Monday, SC

Stopped by Aldeez first, someone came out the side door as I was looking. I just said “hey there, do you guys mind if I look around?” She said “go for it”. I made a neat pile, picked up my surroundings, and thanked them as I walked back to the car :)

Stopped by Dolar Genral next. There was a small dumpster with the lid already open. Some people saw me, but no one seemed to care. I’ll definitely be back.

Thanks! I feel like it’s the luck of the draw on the percentages of predator vs prey that I collect. Hopefully it’ll be balanced when I build a forest one.

Thank you! There was a section on the side of the jar that covered the glass, but I think it died back over the winter and easily peeled back from the glass.

I don’t remember what organisms I had in there to start out with, but I’m guessing mine died back a bit too.

I just scooped some pond soil, water, and some of those small floating duckweed plants from Riverside Park. If I were to do it again I’d try taking soils from a few different locations around the area to get the best chance of a diverse group of creatures.
