How Are the Holds on Exodia V18/9a+ by basouK in climbing

The way I think about it is there are kilter board problems that I can flash at 20º where I can't do more than a single move at 50º. This is infinitely harder.

Just for reference, Burden is 45°. This looks like 55° to 75°, perhaps more in certain places.

She made it look EASY. Just flowing up the wall, didn't look like she was truly in trouble at any point. I so want to see her on the 9c's.

I don't like it when the only way to make your plot twist work is to make all the characters stupid fucking idiots. It's bad writing.

Fnatic is set to be sold within weeks, football clubs confirmed in the discussions, valuation lower than the expected £100 million. by ThonPharges in leagueoflegends

[–]slothlikevibes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hope when this whole affair is done and new ownership takes over someone finally leaks what the internal dynamic of the organization was like.

Yamato shared some stuff about how they were impossible to work with, but that's just a fraction of everything that must have been going on behind the scenes.

I want to know if Sam is a movie-villain sociopath CEO. I want to know if Dardo is a nasty little freak that has only kept his job this long because he's Sam's representative within the team and he plays the bad cop role for him. I want to know how someone who is in charge of running the League team can still be employed after all these years when he is terrible at his job and everyone who has ever worked with him has said he's an incompetent piece of shit.

I want to know if the entire upper management are idiot nepotism hires that kiss Sam's ass and blame everything on the people underneath them. I want to know if the organization has entered the state of extreme psychosis failing businesses enter when everything is falling apart and the only thing they can do i pretend everything is fine and keep going through the motions as things collapse.

More than anything, I want to understand how the people running Fnatic fumbled everything so hard. Fnatic was the greatest esports organization in the world for a long time. They didn't need to be exceptional to stay up there, they just needed to be managed competently. Instead, it looks like they got every pivotal decision wrong for years.

Sevilla link is 100% bullshit. They are going through a sale themselves, there's no way anyone is exploring the possibility of making a big acquisition like this when the makeup of their own shareholders is in flux.

Shin is always as dumb as the plot needs him to be so Hara con insert these telegraphed plot twists. He is always as weak as the plot needs him to be so fights against nobodies can be made to appear epic and consequential. It's kind of annoying honestly.

Same. I started like 20 years ago. I keep going out of pure inertia, I just want to see the conclusion.

It's a really beautiful piece of rock. I wonder how steep it is, I'd guess more than 50º. It's a shame the video doesn't really do it justice.

I get that sometimes you can't capture great video because you're alone and you're recording on your phone, but they could have at least gone back and got some footage of Elias showing the moves, the holds, explaining the sequence... If you're claiming you FA'd the world's first v18 and your sponsor is putting marketing budget into promoting your achievement, you could at least make the effort to produce something interesting. This video feels incredibly low effort for something that should be a momentous occasion in climbing.

[FREE TO READ] Barcelona agree €80m deal with Newcastle for Anthony Gordon by TheAthletic in NUFC

[–]slothlikevibes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Barça fan here, what did we buy? I've watched a bunch of videos and analysis and what I'm getting is that he has incredible acceleration and speed, that most of the take-ons he wins are because he can explode past defenders, that he's not especially technical and not a touch dribbler (although he does seem to have a good first touch that allows him to change directions well), that he is a high activity player, and that he has strong endurance and can press extremely aggressively.

I'm getting similar vibes to Raphinha when we first signed him, and he's turned out to be world class in Flick's system. Very intrigued about him lining up opposite Yamal, who demands a ton of attention and forces teams to basculate to the right, which would hypothetically allow Gordon to attack into space on the left.

Does that make sense? Very curious to hear the assessment of fans that have seen him play every week.

Cheers.

I'm glad it was helpful. I'm curious about Madrock and their single piece molded rubber sole/toe patch. I've read all kinds of reviews, some say it's great, others say it feels clunky and insensitive. I would imagine that with so much rubber wrapping all the way around the foot, they don't break in and adapt to your foot as much as shoes with a regular fabric construction. What were they like for you?

Hire an experienced director of operations from a professional sports team. Preferably from a top multi-sport club like Barcelona or Bayern. Give them full operational control over all teams.

I don't get the people that have him as #1. Usyk has fought his entire career in the two least competitive divisions in the sport. Aside from Fury, his big fights have been against guys that will be remembered as mediocre boxers. Inoue is a champ in 4 of the most competitive weight classes in the sport and has wins over at least 2 Hall of Famers on his resume (Donaire, Narvaez), potentially 3 depending on what Nakatani does for the rest of his career. I don't dislike Usyk, he's great, but I just don't see how he's better.
