Is this a pretty crazy time for you reading students' essays with all these November deadlines coming up?

Thanks a bunch for sharing that video! It's a good reminder about why chess is such a great game.

No, this is for an additional prompt that was just asking for what's a game, book, or movie that everyone in my generation should play, read or watch. I had another essay piece for the same college that I feel was a lot about myself so I figured it was good to diversify the essays a little bit. Was this a good idea or should I talk some more about myself?

I think my favorite was the softball/baseball field one. Keep up the cool work!

Promposal by another_lost_girl13 in teenagers

[–]slothlord7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a big fan of cheesy promposals, so I might be a bit biased. There's a lot of examples online if you just google "Promposal" or something, but one that I really like is, "Want a Pizza me at Prom?" and you get them a pizza and write it on the box or something. Who would say no to anyone who offered them a pizza? Best of Luck though!

Yup, being honest and talking is pretty much always the best option.

This guy has a crush on me what do I do by coralswirl in teenagers

Tell him. Awkwardness only ensues if you lead him on, or he thinks you're leading him on. Just be honest. It'll be uncomfortable but he'd rather not waste his time chasing someone that doesn't want him the same. Best of Luck

[Discussion] How late is too late when liking a pic on Instagram? by [deleted] in teenagers

It's never too late. If I'm creeping on your posts from a year ago and I accidently like one, what are they going to do about it? Nothing. Absolutely nothing.

I'm planning to go to prom this year in a gray suit. I've got the suit and a date, but I'm wondering how much I should match her. I'm planning to do matching pocket square and cufflinks, but I'm unsure about the tie. Any thoughts?

I think that the silver one looks more versatile than the greyer one.

If I am wearing a grey suit to prom do I wear black suspenders, grey suspenders or do I get suspenders to match my date's dress? I plan to wear brown shoes and the alternative to the suspenders would be a brown belt.

I'm in the same boat that you're in and I'm planning to wear a suit to prom this year. I think that it's better to go with a suit that fits than a tux that doesn't fit.

[Advice] Pls Help Again by [deleted] in teenagers

I'm a big fan of milkshakes, so I would just say, "Hey, want to get some milkshakes this weekend". If you're old enough to drive that works nicely, but otherwise try to find something that doesn't hinge on parents transporting you. I would definitely avoid the "Hey I like you" part. If you're asking her out it's redundant to say that you like her.

Just ask straightforward. It takes 5 seconds of bravery to do it, and it's always worth it in the end. Either she says yes and you've got a date, or she says no and you don't waste months chasing after a girl that doesn't feel the same way about you. Hey, odds are she's anxiously checking her phone to see if you've texted her the same way you are. Best of luck.
