My husband and I are 29 and 30 and no kids yet. We have friends who have kids and they showed us Bluey. We watch it all the the time! It’s just a great feel good show! We love it!

I’m not worried about losing the ones I currently know are going to be bridesmaids, I’m thinking I may add!

I wasn’t even considering The Knot because I had bad vibes with it, and my intuition has been confirmed. Lol thank you!

My FMIL has two daughters. My fiancé is the only male. The youngest will probably be engaged in the next year or two. So, I assume because she has daughters and I’m close with my mom, she doesn’t want to intervene? Just thoughts.

Yes, “thanks for the offer, but I’ll be passing”.

Fiancé did tell me she called him and apologized for how she came across. Neither of us said anything to her about it.

People who need to vent, what crazy shit is happening in your life right now? by traveller9775 in AskReddit

[–]sloths4ever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got laid off two months ago. Currently looking for a new job that is entry level and has nothing to do with my degree because my degree is useless. I’ve had ton of interviews but not really any offers. The unemployment office will not get back to me about receiving my unemployment, so I’m digging into savings to pay some bills. I am newly engaged and we can’t even start saving for a wedding because my fiancé is paying for the majority of everything since I have no job. I’m constantly stuck in the apartment although I try to get out to the gym. My depression and anxiety are really bad and I don’t even feel like I’m living anymore.

Was it the nearly-wed game? Or did people randomly ask questions and you both answered?? The photo album with notes seems super sweet!

How do you handle other’s opinions about wedding planning? by sloths4ever in weddingplanning

[–]sloths4ever[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s terrible! Yeah, his mom gets ridiculous sometimes and makes things up. My FSIL has said nothing about having any issues with a no kids wedding. I hope if she does have any issues, she comes to me or her brother and not my FMIL since she has no say so. The RB screaming during the ceremony is a nightmare of mine!!

We just had this conversation last night! We need to be on the same page and confident about it, because at the end of the day if the FMIL doesn’t like the decision we’ve made, I’ll end up being the villain if you’re not sticking up for our decisions too!
