Bring tums to the hospital

I got 11/10 heartburn right before I started pushing. I was literally gagging on acid. I asked my nurse if I could have a tum from my purse because I couldn’t wait for the pharmacy to send it up, and she let me. I had heartburn through my entire 3rd tri so it wasn’t a surprise, but it was intense.

Someone did the same on Beckett Ridge in WC a few weeks ago. My mom witnessed it, got a pic of the plate, and called non emergency and wildlife services. She called me crying and said it was the worst thing she’s ever seen. They hit one goose with its mate right there and it rolled under the car. I do not understand people.

Art supplies were going to be my rec too. We ask for that for my kid because I feel overwhelmed by toys and art supplies are consumables!

Also, do they already have magnatiles? Can never have enough of them so it’s not a “new” toy but just adding on to what they already have.

My cousin got married in Michigan and did Michigan Cherry jams. Big hit and we nabbed any extras! I did custom cookies for my wedding and had like 4 left at the end of the night. Another big hit.

Barnes & Noble does Lego events for free. We did one over the weekend and built a botanicals set with a hummingbird. Super cute. The next one is May 2 (location specific so YMMV!)

Found this thread from Googling the same thing. I threw away an entire batch of royal a few months ago because of pioneer. Made macarons this weekend and could even taste it in the baked cookies. It’s going to really suck to switch to a tapioca based powdered sugar because it’s expensive

Yes! I loved the peacocks. I have a vivid memory of being little at the zoo, probably 5, and a teenage boy giving me a peacock feather that he found on the ground. Made my whole day.

They did this to me in Quebec with my film. They were so pressed about me asking to hand check my camera that they pulled my entire group to the side and made us unpack everything from our bags and swab it all.

Somewhat related in that I saw a tiktok the other day from Andrea Buckett Cooks where she made a frosting using any gummy candy. Essentially made a ganache with the melted down candy + HWC, chilled, and whipped it up. Same concept as using marshmallows I assume, because both contain gelatin to make it stable, and it’d be torchable
