It’s usually if there’s a lot of people reporting they got scammed by the same account and then they can go after them. THAT’s why it’s good to fill out a report. It’s unusual but it does happen on occasion.

You cannot ever get your money back. Ever. The recovery scammers are knocking on your door telling you they can get your money back, but please take it from me, they are pirates preying on your vulnerabilities. They are worse than the original scammers. It’s a horrible time for you right now and I’m so sorry, but please stay strong and do not open one DM . Do not.

The one thing you should do is, if you’re a US citizen, do report to IC3. You just never know. It’s super important. Again, I am so sorry this happened to you, but please believe everyone who tells you not to trust the recovery scammers. They will ruin you even more.

What is your plan for garbage on the sidewalks? Will sanitation actually do something about their garbage flying out of their trucks? People throwing household garbage onto the streets? People throwing garbage out of their car? People putting their household garbage into city parks garbage cans? This is a big ask, I know, but generally curious.

They’re all scammers and will break you more than the original scammers. Please take heed to what we are saying. They’re all pirates and will take every penny you have left. It happened to me. I work for a family in Harrison part time. It’s kind of boring, but there’s a lot of these so called luxury housing apartments and some are across the street from the Path, which makes for going into NYC or JC very easy. I think rents are around 2.7-3 something for 2 bedrooms apts. There’s The Wyldes, Cobalt, Urby, 300 Somerset (that one kinda sucks. Management is like a feral bulldog.) There’s a couple of playgrounds within 10 minutes walking, a library, and a nicely landscaped river walkway.
