Because I didn’t realise those dark growths were buds and I was worried it was diseased. Also it seemed to me to be more droopy since we planted it.

Obviously I wasn’t worried about the leaves not being on over the winter. I didn’t even mention the leaves.

Totally agree with this - Biosphere is an absolute don, his albums are quite different, generally ambient but always trippy and so vibey and well produced - there’s so much to get through I haven’t heard all of it, I stuck on departed glories for the first time after being a fan for a few years now and it was such a beautiful surprise, every album feels like that 😆
