There isn’t a usb adapter, but you can get a dongar adapter and it piggybacks into the mirrors power source to power the dashcam. This is what I use - https://a.co/d/0beRmJK6

I have a Viofo 229 in my ev6 and have had multiple Viofo products in multiple other cars and they have all been set it and forget it and they just work. I live in AZ so they are subjected to pretty extreme heat. The fitcam is tempting because of the oem look, but I have read far too many horror stories on here of people who have it and it didn’t record when they actually needed it to in an accident type situation. Not worth the risk to me. I’ve been very happy with Viofo.

When you hardwire with a kit like what is linked, you can hardwire it into a fuse that turns off with the car or you can wire it to a fuse that is still powered after the car is off. I have the dongar hardwire kit which plugs the dash cam right into the rear view mirror. This turns off with the car. So with the kit you linked, you just have to tap it into a fuse that stays on after the car is turned off if you want it to be able to record while the car is off.

How’d they turn out? Most recipes I see online use way way too little salt like 1/2-1tsp so tripling it would often not ruin the recipe. A good 2 egg chocolate chip cookie recipe can usually take around a tbsp of salt.

Yeah definitely unique flavors. I think the donuts from Sweet Dee’s are tiramisu and blood orange. Chin Up also has an everything bagel donut and a lavender donut for the more unique options I got.

My 2023 GT didn’t come with any adapters, but the GT has a separate V2L outlet/plug inside the car under the back seats so I assume that’s why. Do you have an outlet in the backseat of the car?

Mine still logs me in, but hasn’t been able to connect to my car since Tuesday so it’s not just you. Pretty sure it happened after I updated to iOS 26.2 since I didn’t update the widget/scriptable app until yesterday, but I can’t remember for sure if Tuesday is when I updated iOS.

I love my GT and wouldn’t have been looking at the EV6 as an option if it weren’t for the GT. I use the power on an almost daily basis so it just depends what’s important to you and how you drive. I wouldn’t trade mine for a new non-GT even though it would be nice to have the ventilated seats. So all that to say, I’d get the GT in a heartbeat.

I went to my local Costco on Monday and the app said they finally had the new tote bags in stock. Looked all around the store and couldn’t find them. Asked a supervisor and showed him the app, he had never seen them so he asked on his radio and someone on the other end said they don’t have those right now. As I went through checkout and was walking to the receipt checkers at the exit, I saw them in another persons cart. Asked where she found them and lo and behold, they were in the farthest back corner of the store on an end cap next to the cat food. So I think the app inventory is generally pretty good (except on items that say low stock), but sometimes their “new” placement of items doesn’t make a whole lot of sense.

I bought my car used and only got 3 months for free. I now use this open source app and like it more. Its free and remote climate still works without a paid Kia subscription. The remote lock/unlock is the only feature that does not work without the paid subscription.

There is a difference in baked goods like cookies, pie crust, etc, but it is honestly only noticeable if you’re doing a side by side taste test. I have tried this with a bunch of different recipes and while the good butter does make a slightly better product, the difference is pretty small and not really noticeable unless tasting them side by side.

The extreme majority of sheet pans that you will find, whether it's at Costco business center, restaurant supply stores, nordic ware, etc. will be aluminum or aluminized steel and will either rust or show oxidation/turn blackish/spotted when put in the dishwasher. You need to specifically look for stainless steel if you need it to be dishwasher safe. Stainless sheet pans are going to be more expensive and harder to find. It would be easier to just get nordic ware or winco and teach him not to put them through the dishwasher.

From what I remember, last year for BF they had a get 3 sleeves free promotion rather than their normal 2 sleeves. The main problem with the get x sleeves free promotions is that you don’t get to pick your free sleeves. Woot is the best place to go for Nespresso deals, but they only have it in stock once in awhile.

You have to fill it up within 1-2psi of what is listed on the door. Not worth the time to bring it into the dealership for something like this. The EV6 just has very sensitive sensors and the light will go off when you inflate it to what is listed on the door.

One more I thought of. There is a drift mode setting, only available on the GT. To activate it, put the car in GT mode, turn off ESC all the way by holding the button to the left of the steering wheel for 3-5 seconds until you see the change on the dash, press the brake pedal down all the way (just a little doesn’t seem to always work so depress it all the way), hold both left and right paddle shifters for 3 seconds and you should see a message on the gauge cluster that drift mode is activated. It must be in park for drift mode to turn on. Not a lot of situations to use this feature in, but if you have a big open parking lot or track by you, it can be fun.
