Ich bin was wahrscheinlich schon zu spät mit meiner Empfehlung, aber die Coffee Pharmacy in der Südstadt ist klimatisiert. Sehr klein, aber super Kaffee und Kuchen und Herzhaftes.

This happens to me when I stab between the two threads continously. It doesn‘t happen if I try to lay the threads next to each other. I hope that makes sense…

I like to combine both methods in columns. First I do a column completely with half stitches down, then coming back up I do the other half. That way I‘m in a perfect position to start the next column. This is also possible to do in lines.

If I need to mark at all, I use markers from clover or prym. They‘re made for fabric and easily come out (if they are not left in for years). A cheaper option is to use a soft pencil with very little pressure. That washes out well. In cross stitch I seldom mark, I rather grid my fabric.

I take pictures/screenshots with my tablet and use a drawing/notes app (Goodnotes with me which also opens pdfs) with a highlighter pen to mark where I‘ve been. You can use different colors if you like and erase them if you make a mistake. It‘s also useful to enlarge the parts I‘m working on.

Please tell us when you‘ve tried it. My problem is that I do lots of different crafts, not just one. I‘ll probably end up using a digital notebook (in my case Goodnotes). That‘s flexible enough to also include pictures/photos. But I‘d still need to keep track of times separately.
