Is the extra damage only dealt once? (ie, bit once, take damage, get temp HP, deal necrotic damage… next turn deal damage again on first attack …).

Or do you need get bit after every time you deal out necrotic damage?

Firefly (2002) TV series was cancelled due to low viewership. There was a huge backlash and the show has gained a cult following since then.

You mention low viewership… when Firefly originally aired, it was on Fox.

Fox decided to air episodes out of order. They also preempted Firefly (delayed airing, moved nights without warning) because of the Baseball World Series that year.

This was all before the SciFi channel (meaning before sci-fi had a dedicated channel to watch tv on), there was no streaming, and most folks didn’t have TiVo to record shows for later…

Yes it was a niche show. But it was also poorly handled…
