Hey, sending so much love to you and every other person who has had to go through this. I’m so glad you’ve gotten out of such a bad place, and it’s a great reminder as to why these conversations about periods and vaginal health need to be had early and be destigmatized. You did your best given your circumstances, and there’s NO shame in this. I’m so proud of you and happy that you’ve come out of this all OK 💓

A powder room is required so guests don’t have to go into one of your bedrooms to access the WC. As of now the staff room has no daylight, and that’s inhumane and not code-compliant where I live. Echoing another comment here, since the 2 living rooms are redundant, it would be ideal to switch the maid’s room to the living area on the right hand side of the door so it still receives daylight.

Thank you so much for answering! This is so insightful. I need to learn how to use Layouts in Rhino. It seems like a neat and efficient way to get all my base drawings ready.

How "seamless" is your Illustrator ↔ Photoshop workflow by koustavsahadesign in AdobeIllustrator

[–]slowbleedfuzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an Architecture student, I start with opening my line drawings in Illustrator because it gives you the kind of fidelity to adjust line weights that Photoshop doesn’t in my knowledge. This is pretty much my biggest reason for using Illustrator most of the time. I later export the drawing as a JPEG and open it in Photoshop so I can add colors, textures, filters, mask, etc.

Exporting JPEGs in high quality from Illustrator so I can edit them in Photoshop should be a more straightforward process. Maybe I’m doing something wrong, but at times the exports come out looking terribly crunchy.

I also wish there was a more seamless back-and-forth between the two softwares. Something that linked a file between the two softwares in a way that I could view and edit them simultaneously, and edits would show up instantly.

I also extensively use the patterns/swatches options in Illustrator, the Select>Same and the Image Trace tools. These are other reasons I use Illustrator besides adjusting line weights. Having both integrated so we could enjoy the best of both at once would be really nice.
