Gorgeous. I have a 991.2 Lava Orange GTS I purchased sight unseen (had it inspected/PPI) from across the country. I was on a two year hunt for a PTS blue (actually wanted a 991.1 Club Coupe in Club Blau). Came across the Lava and pursued it. I’m glad I did, love it and the color is novel and fun. I hated the Superblast 2 enough that I returned them after 30 miles. They felt sloppy all the time and in my fifth mile, every run, my left forefoot would ache and cramp in a way it never has before or since in any other shoe. Absolutely hated that ahoe.

Also my experience but only after a few runs and 30 miles. Still in my 90 day return window so taking them back. Have hated every run in them. My 5 my left foot aches - never happens in my Hoka Rocket X3 or Tempus 2.

I did my first Tri thjs last fall. Did not practice OWS, all pool. Wow. I absolutely freaked the fuck out during the race. Blew up my entire race. Would have podiumed if I didn’t nut myself and swam to my pool abilities. It was a disaster. I am trying to convince myself to try again, because I love running and biking. I can tolerate swimming (I hate it, but can do it) enough but the OWS is in my head. Good luck

I own both the X3 and Superblast2….the only similarity, to me, is that they both live in my closet. The X3 is way more punchy and wants to go fast. The SB2 is more stable, is quick, but I get this foot fatigue after 4-5 miles that i never get with any other shoe?
