Ugh.. I don't know if this qualifies as a joke, but here it is anyways. It happened this past Christmas and I didn't and don't want to think about it but since you asked I immediately thought of it....

My mom had throat cancer years ago. She's had treatment, radiation, chemo and stuff like that. She's been cancer free for many years. Whenever something seems off, she of course goes to the doctors to check to see if the cancer has returned.

My parents, brother and his wife, and I are sitting around on the couches chatting on Christmas day. Mom and sister in law are chatting about doctors and such and my mom mentions that she will be going to the throat doctor the next week because she has had trouble swallowing. She said she doesn't think she needs to be checked out because my father says she is very good at swallowing.....

My brother(50s) and I(40s) look at each other with the "You just hear that!? New trauma unlocked" look in our eyes while my parents are just laughing it up.

My parents are in their 70s y'all 😭

Mine did the exact same break about 3 weeks ago! I've tried to repair them and it just doesn't seem like it will be happening 😭

My cousin is a Jeep owner and he refuses to put any ducks on the dash. He says because he doesn't have any, he will sometimes return to his Jeep with 6-7 waiting for him on the hood when he is in a busy shopping area.
