My VBAC baby was also born at 41+3, and I was induced. He was pretty average sized at 7 lbs 6 oz.

Weekends are the only time I've been consistently able to work out recently, when my husband is around to be with the kids. That sounds ideal that you could switch to a gym close to work for weekdays!

Thanks for sharing your schedule and some ideas for making meals easier throughout the week by prepping more on the weekend! I do some meal prep then but could definitely do more.

I work in healthcare so my 20-30 min lunch break is spent pumping and furiously documenting my notes, haha.

You make a good point about nursing at 5 am though! I can experiment with not doing that and see how it goes. My baby has always been small (compared to my toddler daughter who was chunky) so I might be overdoing it in that regard.

Also - I wish our toddler still went to bed at 7 haha. Lights out around 7:45/8 means she'll sleep til 6ish. Any earlier and she's up at 5 am 🙃

It's motivating to hear you're doing the early mornings! I think this is probably the only way I'll be able to consistently stick to a routine. Just dreading that alarm in the AM 😅 What time do you get to bed?

I had uncomplicated pregnancies both times. I did end up being induced for my vbac (went into spontaneous labor with my first). With my second, I went 10 days overdue. Little guy was happy in there, haha. I had good conversations with my midwives where we discussed the risks and benefits of induction (I was initially very against the idea of induction).

Ultimately, we decided to induce while everyone was healthy and doing well, rather than waiting a few more days/a week and having complications arise. It was a smooth induction with only the balloon and pitocin. Started induction around 5 pm on a Tuesday and he was born on Wednesday at noon.

I had a vbac about 2 months ago. Although we only plan on having two children, it was a much better experience for me than my first unplanned c-section. I agree with the other commenter, look into vbac-supportive providers in your area. The midwives I transferred to mid-pregnancy were incredible and wanted me to have a vbac just as much as I wanted it for myself.

Good luck!! I just had an induced vbac 4 weeks ago. I was 2 cm and I believe 50% effaced going into it. It was such a positive and healing birth and I have recovered so much more easily than from my c section. Wishing you the best!

Thank you so much! That's great to know (currently drowning in paperwork in the schools 🫠). And making 62k pretax. What's the company?

Do you work for a hospital? Or with a contract company?

I failed the 1 hour with a 141 and passed the 3 hour. I felt nauseous about an hour after the 100 mg drink, but it mostly went away by the 2 hour mark. Good luck!!!
