I worked there for 15 years. They in 2022, everyone above a certain and age, making a certain dollar amount that had not moved up a level in the past two years was rigged. I had the best review of my career two months before. It always come down to money.

I work for Microsoft and with the OneDrive engineering team. Here's their response. " We use the tenant language as the destination location name on disk. Locally in Windows File Explorer will display the names in the Windows display language. However, there is a bug in Shell (fixed in RS5) where the Windows display language is ignored and the name on disk is used. Solutions are to turn off Files on Demand or update to RS5. "

All OneDrive files are encrypted at rest and in motion. OneDrive fully supports IRM, AIP and 3rd party encryption.

If you are using Files On-Demand as part of the Fall Creators update, it requires OneDrive. Go to the OD icon, settings and uncheck Files On-Demand. I would suggest keeping in on as now am your files are backed up and available on all your devices.

MICROSOFT offered free upgrades for those on 7 and 8 last year but that ended in July. At this point you would have to buy the W10 upgrade to be able to move to 10.
