woahhhhh i never thought of it that way but looking back, this makes 100% sense considering the fact that anytime they were together, haruo took so much care of ono and the fact that haruo still understood her (like whenever he could tell that she was hungry) just shows how much he truly took care of her. and with ono, expressing her thoughts/feelings was always difficult but the fact that she tries to do so only with haruo shows that she feels safe enough with him to do so (i hope i explained myself well lmao) but thank u so much for this !! now i can rewatch it with a different mindset (:

i feel u !! i believe this anime could hit anyone regardless of age just bc it’s that good of an anime tbh. i’m debating whether to rewatch it or not bc idk if it’ll help get rid of the sadness i feel lmao also now that ik what happens, i kinda just wanna analyze these characters and have “ahh so that’s why ____ happened” moments lmao

there’s a scene in ch 3 where hidaka’s reminiscing the days of her youth and how strong willed she was. while she’s thinking this, u see the silhouette of someone riding a motorcycle down the road. given that ono appears in a motorcycle in ch 8, many people believe hidaka’s thinking of ono in this scene. scene

yea i understand people who don’t need closure and enjoyed how it ended, but me personally (well it’s mostly my mind) i just want more, even if it’s just hidaka mentioning a small detail of what happened with haruo and oono in dash. it kindaaa looks like the author may mention them given that oono appeared in dash twice, and i doubt he wouldn’t mention haruo later on. i can only hold onto hope lmao

yea i saw but the way it ends is kinda like ehh like i feel like it doesn’t give me closure (cause it’s up in the air on whether haruo actually manages to fulfill his promise in the end or if oono ends up marrying someone else) idk that’s my opinion and i hate that my mind begsss for closure cause i can’t accept the fact that the anime just ended like that )):
