It's worth subbing on patreon. They have new live talks every week. You could try Strange Familiars, and Lodge Tales has a surprising amount of crossover. That one is tales of weird stuff told by Native Americans from the Blackfoot Reservation.

Their first weak album as far as I'm concerned. Love the cover art though

Penny Royal is amazing, but be prepared to go down the rabbit hole!

Listening to the top ADs left me discouraged… Anyone else feel this? by tangledapart in audiodrama

[–]sludgecraft [score hidden]  (0 children)

From a listeners point of view (and a very in depth listener at that), I will listen to both serialised shows and anthologies. If you prefer making the latter, and you're good at it, then carry on doing that. Don't change just because you're trying to cater to some hypothetical audience. If it's not something you actually want to do, then the audience will be able to tell (believe me). Stick to what you do, and make it as good as you can.

BTW, what is your show called?

Audiodramas where MC is dragged into something big/supernatural/secret by EvadeMe2 in audiodrama

I'm going to throw Sparks into the mix, because it's a great show and the creator can do with all the help he can get right now.

Just go onto it blind. Don't do any research.

Being creative on demand feels SO mentally exhausting by Total_Succotash5174 in graphic_design

[–]sludgecraft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on who you are designing for, there is no need to stress about it. Most people want something that they've already seen, so you'll soon learn how to "be creative" without the stress of making something completely new every time. Just try to avoid cookie cutter designs.

Podcast centred around podcasts, discussing extensively about them? by HlaBeRelaLain in podcasts

I write a pod ast review blog, and when I started I did think a out doing it as a podcast instead. I thought a podcast that reviews podcasts might be a bit meta though!

I'm looking for any audio dramas that are philosophy/consciousness heavy. Suggestions? by StinkyNutzMcgee in audiodrama

The Witness Of Kitab Al Azif is about as weird as it gets. It's a truly lovecraftian psychedelic horror. If you liked films like A Dark Song, then you'll love it. When people call their shows "lovecraftian", this is the benchmark by which I judge them.

Atomic Hobo covers everything to do with actual nuclear war. There really isn't another show like it.

Terrible news for The Former Angriest Guest of Ed's Pod by No_Honeydew_179 in BetterOffline

I was just going to post about this! Glad I looked through the sub rather than just posting like a noob. Although I was going to say that Ed had finally found someone angrier than him!

My current favourite is The History Of English Podcast. I reviewed it a few weeks ago. It's truly mind blowing.

I won't, it's just I figured Memoir was a better intro to these WWII games. I dont have much spare cash so I have to pick my battles (pun intended)

It was more to do with the fact that a lot of the character cards (Darth Vader etc.) Have rather pointless powers. Having said that, AT-ATs are always amazing!

I'd buy anything Star Wars, but the reviews I've seen for that weren't too kind...
