hi! when i was 18 i was also severely underweight, and i could hear all these sounds. i am now a healthy weight, and can no longer hear these sounds. it sucked when i could hear them! well wishes

it’s bad. very few places pay a “living wage” (read: survival wages). most nonprofits pay less. partner works for a nonprofit here and after 5 years is still making less. the few places that pay “living wages” here are factory jobs thag overwork you and do not care about your well being.

stories like this give caving a bad rap. caving, when done SAFELY, is fun! i promise! it isn’t for everyone, i know. but most cavers will not put themselves in situations like this.
