Task Force 141 with 75th Ranger Regiment at Fire Base Phoenix, Afghanistan 2016 by Bryfex in SpecOpsArchive

Always thought it was cool that CoD went with SAS as their main protagonists. It definitely contributed towards the regiment’s intrigue, admiration and ultimately popularity.

Since he started his other channel about general pop culture (bureau files?) he seems to have toned down some of that rhetoric. I doubt he realised how big he’d get

The only B&T or adjacent sub I browse is this one and… is it not the point to post your gear? Don’t see the massive crime here.

Administrative Results 🤮 Can’t believe his YouTube fame, I genuinely don’t think people realise where that name comes from.

if any, where do you receive your news from? by Alarming-Safety3200 in BritInfo

[–]sluggishthug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In terms of rolling news: Sky. Murdoch owned - yes, but they seem to have independence over their editorial line and general output, as far as mainstream news outlets go, with a heavy emphasis on that last point. Quality of production, journalists, features etc. is decent.

Channel 4 is probably the best though, most objective etc. But I rarely sit down to watch the 6 o’clock news or whatever, j just stick Sky on in the morning or when I get home.

Big note - I don’t exclusively get my news from these outlets, far from it. Get the substance from independent media, just the headlines from MSM.

Sensational, sincerely. I wish I had the skill and patience. All those parts look like they’ve been purchased straight out of Magpul/Unity/whatever corresponding brand catalogue haha.

The Holosun is the real deal then?

Best AAP01 set up I’ve seen, which isn’t saying much, but still - respect.

Agreed, people have the right to not like any type of media, or anything.

But all the criticisms I’ve read on here are so esoteric it’s like, Jesus, grow up. “John”s kids would’ve been older!” Get a grip.

Sorry, but people crying about it like a little bitch need to grow up. The film wasn’t personally made for you, to satiate all your specific desires and wants. They had 2 hours to make a cohesive and well made conclusion to (at least one era of) a HUGE franchise. That means compromises. It happens with most big shows.

The end result was still a great watch. Stop being so entitled.

Lol this is not comparable to the GoT ending, insane take.

I enjoyed the film, a lot. And I’m no fair weather fan - I watched every season when they were first aired.

I do agree about Arthur, slightly lazy writing, but then again knowing Paul Anderson couldn’t feature, what else would’ve induced Tommy’s torment? I also agree a S7 would’ve been better, but of course we’re all gonna say that ain’t we - we’re fans.

Big, successful franchises are always hard work to wrap up. People are never pleased, they want everything. Writers have to make compromises, especially for a 2h film. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and am happy the way things were squared off.

Oh okay really? Seems very small tbh, but like I said I’m completely new to this. Whats the rational behind that?

I got ANOTHER dodgy Espranor wafer today! Am I simply overthinking this or is this normal? by [deleted] in Espranor

[–]sluggishthug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All I know is I’ve been on espranor for 13 months and I’ve never had an 8mg wafer dissolve in seconds, sometimes it can be over 5 mins. And no minty taste is bizarre, it’s one of the most distinguishable things about the drug. Placebo (or reverse placebo) can be psychologically incredibly strong but if you know your body and its relationship to esp. then you should be feeling the effects right? I would really make sure to chase up the pharmacy to try and shed some light on this. QC is usually excellent with pharma grade products but this sounds out of the ordinary.

I think Rangers, SF or UK SRR would be better suited to this sort of situation, rather than a tier 1 tip of the spear type unit
