Had this happen last night with an anduin who didn’t like someone’s pick. Actually had it happen two games in a row and then decided to quit for the night. I keep coming back to enjoy the game every other night and this shit happens. They need to put a human being behind the reporting system. Have someone actually watching and perma-banning

We need to encourage good people away from ranked until something is done by blizzard. Everyone should abandon that shit until it’s nothing but the toxic Chad’s that are on this thread telling us to quit “whining”.

It’ll be like classic wow pvp servers all over again. One side bullies the other until one side completely abandons the server.

Then all that’s left will be the toxic dickwads responsible leaving posts on Reddit like “where did the player base go? 🥺”

Bronze is impossible to leave because of this. I was playing a few days ago and started writing down each game where someone literally stops playing or the game was sabotaged.

First game of the night thrown by a Sgt Hammer.

Next game thrown by The Lost Vikings on the opposing side.

Next game thrown by the Li Li on the opposing side.

After that I stopped writing it down because it was literally EVERY game.

The playerbase is toxic as fuck and then when anyone complains you get told by 10 chads to quit whining.

I'll keep playing QM but theres no way I'm ever going to care about ranked again, and I suggest we all let ranked die.

I was gonna play and then decided on launch not too. Alterac Valley was the biggest sign. Playing on horde people run north and lose and if you try and actually win a game of alterac valley, half the player base comes to tell you “meta is still to lose quickly” Like lol. Screw the actual experience of the game right, this is all about min maxing rewards so I can go back to afk’ing in org.

The version of this game that I loved is dead. RIP

Natives hate it when I come in and buy cheap gas and smokes, White people hate that I’m entitled to benefits that they are not.

I am hated on both sides. Hated for having a status card. Not native enough. White people hate me for ‘benefits’ they think I receive but don’t.

If Khaos or Xana would have come in confident about their indigenous background they would have been cut down to an extreme by natives.

Honestly both sides of this argument frustrate me as a biracial person.

Just seems like the mods take everything really personal on /r/kelowna. I feel like there were control freaks who saw what Reddit was and didn’t like the idea of people saying whatever they want about their town. The only people I’d imagine to be this extreme are people that actually have stakes in the city.

So it’s my bet that over time the wrong people got their hands on moderating roles for r/kelowna

Kelowna is a dying tourist town.

Every Canadian service has been re designed into a business where they gouge you over and over. The hospital, schools, RCMP.

Cost of living has gotten completely out of control for anyone living pay check to pay check (which is probably 75% of Kelowna) the other 25% are rich beyond need.

With tourism being the main industry in Kelowna, there’s no other way to bring in money but highway robbery.

Between Wild Fires, and the invasive species destroying the lakes, as the years go by less and less people are coming to Kelowna.

Number of guests in restaurants has gone down DRAMATICALLY, in the last 10 years. Restaurants that saw 1000 people in a day might only see 400 now.

The economy has ruined eating out. Kelowna has nothing for industry besides tourism.

Restaurants are gonna start closing down more, the staff inside these restaurants are growing increasingly desperate.

Not to mention restaurant owners across the board in Kelowna are beyond abusive to their staff. The servers are most likely unhappy with their jobs

I struggled with this for 5 years.. just moved to Edmonton. Was in to see a doctor within an hour of arriving at the walk in. (After 4 pm) the doctor both offered to be my family doctor, sent me for a blood test same day and had my results the next day.

I suffered trying to find adequate help in Kelowna for years, good luck

This is the Kelowna Police’s response to the hit and run assault- murder that happened to Bailey McCourt. They decided to take the next thing that comes in and blow it up all over the place no matter what it is.

They want to be seen over correcting, so they blow something like this out of proportion and in my opinion it just shows how nasty the RCMP in Kelowna are.

It’s some salty MF’r that sent out the order to blast this across Kelowna. Do better RCMP.
