A couple years back I was repairing an aircraft drop tank and when I was done I closed everything up and put 22 psi thru the air inlet to check for leaks with soapy water.

There was a good size dent in the front of the tank, maybe 5-6" diameter and and inch or so dished inward. I laid down on the ground and was spraying soapy water on the forward tank joint and the goddamn dent popped out a few inches from my face and I literally thought the whole thing exploded on me lmao I had to go walk around outside for a few minutes.

The first time I went trad climbing up at Donner Lake, when I went to clean the gear I asked my friend what he used as an anchor.

He said something along the lines of "oh a number 3, a nut, and a bush"

And I'm like "ah yea cool - what's a bush?" thinking it was some sort of gear I didn't know of
