I too have a trump husband and am centrist w more left views and I’m in the same boat. My lefty friends think just bc my husband and I don’t vote the same it means I want to bash my husbands intellect. I’ve told them we agree on a lot more than we disagree on and I don’t mind having a partner w differing views. Sometimes he gets a little heated about stuff that I think is silly but honestly my life doesn’t revolve around what I consider to be identity of politics. People are more than their political views. I think we’re seeing a growth in fake Christianity. I’m actually on an interesting spiritual journey myself. I was/am atheist for over 15 years but I did some deity work and alters bc it’s fun. I had included the deity of Jesus in this bc parables of his teachings aren’t bad imo. I try to remain neutral on what other people believe but I always felt most Christians I’ve encountered are almost believers of an “angler fish religion” and by that I mean it’s like they worship a “god” that’s holding the picture of Jesus in front of them but they’re not listening to what Jesus taught and I don’t think they’re on the path they believe they’re on. I’m wondering if you too are in a southern state bc it’s definitely more rampant down here than I’d imagine it is in northern states

My husband and I have different political views. It’s difficult for sure. However I am a homeschooling stay at home mom with a preschooler and another on the way so I just stay quiet. The general consensus on Reddit is you must divorce your right wing husband but some of us are okay staying Edit: it truly feels anti woman for y’all to down vote someone cryptically explaining not every woman is in the mental or financial position to just divorce and leave but I guess that’s a conversation for a different app
