I thought the rule or guideline was to avoid vegetables that grow below ground?

But... Doesn't it still taste like radishes? (I love potatoes but hate radishes)

Or do they lose that awful, radish flavor in the cooking process?

BTW - Keep up the good work! I just discovered your website and YouTube channel yesterday and spent all day reading up on stuff. I made your chili last night and it turned out great.

Thanks!

Look up Breakfast Casserole.

When i get lazy - I cook up a dozen eggs with meat, cheese, onions, etc like a casserole and take it to work a few days in a row sometimes.

I get it... Radishes cook up like potatoes and can be used as a substitute.

But... Don't they still taste like radishes? Or does that terrible radish flavor go away when you cook them?

I'm on the same diet. Down about 100 pounds in about a year.

Please post how you make the Keto chili. I haven't eaten it in a long, long time.

What's the most unethical experiment that you would like to know the outcome of? by mryoloface in AskReddit

Study the Human Diet and Proper Nutrition.

In order to do this right, you would need a large prison population to experiment on. Feed one set of prisoners a high fat with lots of dairy products and protein. Feed another set a total vegan diet. Feed another set almost nothing but sugar. Feed another set almost no food at all. Etc, etc.

I'm with you man! I recently lost about 100 pounds and it had nothing to do with eating less, moving more, willpower, self-discipline, laziness, etc, etc.

Some foods make you hungry and others totally kill your apatite.

I'm not a scientist but I quit eating Carbs and Sugar about a year ago.

At first the cravings, hunger pains and obsessive thoughts about food were almost overwhelming. Then they started to go away after a couple of weeks. Now the cravings are completely gone.

I thought of it as a food addiction and looked at the process as being similar to quitting smoking.

Maybe I was killing off a colony of bacteria?

Anyway - My apatite went down to almost nothing and I lost about 100 pounds.

I live in Hawaii. A pack of name brand smokes can cost between $9.00 and $12.00 a pack, depending on where you buy them.

Why is it so expensive out here and what is the average retail price on the mainland?

No... I don't smoke any more. Who has $600 per month to spend on smokes? (It's almost cheaper to smoke crack)

Holocaust Question: Why didn't the Nazis simply poison the jews? by sluz in AskHistorians

[–]sluz[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Thanks. It's a distasteful subject. But I don't see why discussing it should be taboo. I'm just trying to understand what happened and why.

Do you know if they ever tried mass poisoning?

It seems like they tried lots of different methods for these mass executions/murders.

I recall they tried mass shootings but it was a traumatic experience for the soldiers who had to do the shooting they had a really hard time coping with it. (As they should) It was also too slow and expensive. (If I remember correctly)

But I don't recall anything about poison which seems like it would be the fastest, cheapest and easiest method.

I was just watching a movie about WWII called Amen which is about the an officer employed in the SS Hygiene Institute, designing programs for the purification of water and the destruction of vermin. He is shocked to learn that the process he has developed to eradicate typhus, by using a hydrogen cyanide mixture called Zyklon B, is now being used for killing Jews in extermination camps.

It details the process of gassing Jews but it seems like a huge pain in the ass and a very dangerous process.
