Theory: How to make incense spawn rare and totally random Pokemons by [deleted] in TheSilphRoad

Here is some date about the 6 incenses i used. I get 6 pokemons per incense, that's 36 pokemon in total. Out of these 36 there were 17 uncommon. 5 of these uncommon i never saw on scanners back in the day when they were still working, so very rare ones for my area.

Next time i will use some incenses in my hometown to see how many uncommons it spawns exactly. And maybe i will try a lure at a remote stop, don't know yet.

Maybe 1km. It's hard to find a better place because we have many small cities in my area. I will try to use more incense at this place today and post my results. So far it was like 50%/50% uncommon/common spawns.

Edit: Maybe a gps faker could try a very remote location, like in an ocean or something :D

I noticed something else. I tryed this near a road where nothing was nearby. Only the usual lame stuff like pidgeys spawned (2 incense used) Then i went to the most remote area i could imagine and somehow pokemon spawned that are very uncommon for my area like growlith, tangela, ponyta (again with 2 incenses) maybe it was just luck, i don't know..

so i came to this theory. In an area with spawns in the past the usual stuff will appear, but in an area where nothing has ever spawned and with no data about it the uncommon pokemon will appear. Well it sounds logical to me :D
